Cancellation Policy
At Kilimedair, we understand that plans can change unexpectedly. Our Refund and Cancellation Policy ensures clarity and fairness for all our clients. By using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Refund Policy
1.1 Eligibility for Refunds:
Refunds are applicable in the following scenarios:
- Services booked and fully paid but canceled within the eligible cancellation window.
- Service disruptions caused by unforeseen circumstances attributable to Kilimedair (e.g., technical or operational issues).
- Overpayments or duplicate payments made by the client.
1.2 Non-Refundable Situations:
Refunds are not applicable in the following cases:
- Cancellations made outside the eligible cancellation period.
- Failure to meet weight, safety, or documentation requirements for certain services (e.g., Kilifasta, Chartered Flights).
- No-shows or delays caused by the client.
- Third-party disruptions, such as insurance-related delays.
1.3 Processing Refunds:
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days.
- Refunds will be issued via the original payment method or an alternative agreed upon with the client.
- Any applicable transaction or administrative fees may be deducted from the refund amount.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Cancellation by the Client:
- Medical Evacuation Services: Due to the emergency nature, cancellations may not be eligible for refunds.
- Kilifasta & Scenic Flights:
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled flight will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the flight are non-refundable.
- Chartered Flights:
- Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the scheduled charter are eligible for a 70% refund.
- Cancellations made within 72 hours are non-refundable.
2.2 Cancellation by Kilimedair:
In rare cases where Kilimedair cancels a service due to weather conditions, technical issues, or operational constraints, clients will have the option to:
- Reschedule the service at no additional cost.
- Receive a full refund.
3. Rescheduling Policy
3.1 Requests by Clients:
- Clients can request to reschedule services up to 48 hours before the scheduled time.
- Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
3.2 Rescheduling by Kilimedair:
If we reschedule a service due to operational constraints, clients will not incur additional costs.
